How to become a better blogger

Improving your blog can be tedious and time consuming, but it is well worth it in the long run. Take your time and complete these steps a little bit each day. There are a couple of steps that can improve your exposure and turn readers into commenter’s. By completing these steps you will be able to sit back and enjoy the results that can be very beneficial.
Using images in your posts

To make it simple, readers love images. They set the tone of your article and help the readers visualize what message you are trying to convey. There are tons of stock image sites out their like iStockPhoto that can help you find the right image you are looking for. You have to remember that people are scanning through blogs and by the use of an attractive image; it will catch their eye and make them a little more intrigued to read the article.
Feature your best blogs

Linking your most popular blogs makes it easier for readers to see your best content instead of making them search for it. Most of the time if the reader cannot find decent content without searching, they just whined up leaving your blog all together. By linking your best blogs, you are not only optimizing it for the search engines but, you are also making it a good point for new visitors to start off on. The easier you make it for the readers, the more beneficial it will be for your exposure and statistics.

Social Media Networking

Making friends on sites such as Digg, Mixx, Reddit, and StumbleUpon, can be very beneficial in the long run. Networking on sites like these is important and can be a very good source of traffic. By voting for someone else’s post, you can later ask them to vote for your post in return which can make your site very prosperous. The sites can give you hundreds of visitors by just being voted for high enough. In addition to networking on these sites, you should also have these sites linked at the bottom of all of your posts so you have the potential to get free votes which can lead to free traffic.

Guest Blogging

Guest blogging can be very beneficial to the new comers. It is a great way to get your name out there and receive lots of exposure and traffic. The best way to do this is by having the article already written so that the blog owner can just review it and post if they happen to like it. It is beneficial in both ways because the owner gets new content and readers and the writer gets a free link and tons of exposure.

Promote your blog

Don’t wait for the readers to come to you. Setup an RSS feed so you are updating the readers with the new posts and articles. People have so many things to worry about that your site may not be remembered or revisited. By doing this you will keep them updated and hopefully keep them as a reader and commenter. Another way to do this is by taking your most popular blog and submitting it to a couple of other blogs in your niche. If they happen to like it, you can get a free link out of it.

These five steps can help improve your blog drastically. It may seem like a lot of work at first but just do a little each day and it will be over before you know it. Once you have completed this list, you will thank yourself with all of the new traffic and exposure you have received as well as the possibility of endless amounts of readers that can visit your blog and subscribe to your RSS feeds.

Purchasing Tires Online - What To Check For

There are a variety of tires to choose from for your vehicle. Of course, the best tires to purchase would be the ones that the vehicle manufacturer or dealer suggests. Those are usually the ones that are suited for your vehicle. If you don’t want to purchase them at a brick and mortar store, an alternative is to purchase your tires online.

Your Checklist

Prior to making an investment for your vehicle online, there are some things you should check first:

You should have knowledge of the tires that you need to purchase. Do a search online and research for further information. Check the manufacturer’s website. They should have plenty of information on the tire that you’re looking for.

You will need to know what the parameters are. That would include how wide the tire is, ratio, the diameter of the wheel, speed rating, how much pressure to put in the tires, tread and traction information. Your purchase should be based on safety more than style.

Re-manufactured Tires?

Even though you can save money with re-manufactured tires, it’s not always the best choice. They will not last long on your vehicle.

You’ll want to compare prices with the online stores versus the brick and mortar stores. See where you would get the best value. Find out about warranties and money back guarantees.

Take The Weather In Consideration

As far as weather is concerned, if you live in an area where it rains most of the time or snows, you may want to consider purchasing special tires to navigate the weather conditions. Make sure that they are durable enough to withstand the roads during inclement weather.

If you purchase vehicles that transport passengers, make sure you get the right ones. If you’re driving on metropolitan roadways, you may want to consider getting tubeless tires.

Prior to ordering online, find out what their policies are regarding shipping and handling. Some online retailers may have a special where they offer free shipping. You should also inquire about who will take care of the mounting and balancing. Most of this depends on the individual online retailer as to how this is handled.

Balancing

When you do know who’s going to do the mounting and balancing, make sure they are licensed to do the work. Inquire with the mechanic about wear and tear and rotation schedules.

When it’s time for the tires to be replaced, you should do it at least two at a time. It’s better if all four were replaced together, but if you have limited funds, at least have two of them done at the same time. When you get them replaced, do the front wheels first. Later on, you can replace the back wheels. It’s not advantageous to replace one front and one back wheel.

Make sure you are informed when it comes to purchasing tires online. If you keep your tires maintained and replaced on schedule, you won’t have any problems with the vehicle. Most of all be a savvy and smart consumer. Don’t allow dealers to sell you the highest priced set available just because they can.
